Favourite tea: Builder's, lots of milk, one heaped spoonful of sugar

After completing her PhD in Neuropharmacology and Magnetic Resonance Imaging at the University of Nottingham in 2001, and authoring/co-authoring nine-peer reviewed scientific articles, Dr. Yas thought 'bugger this for a game of soldiers', turned down a lectureship in 2005 and moved back into her mum's spare room to start a new (and successful) career in medical educational and promotional writing.

It was during this reckless career roulette period that she stumbled upon Tim Pare, an aspiring singer/song writer, who drew upon his depressing previous life to write killer tunes. Eighteen months after bringing sunshine into his life and at the same time destroying his music career (he was too happy so had nothing to write about), they got married and set off on honeymoon. It was this same honeymoon that turned their worlds upside down and saw the inception of what later was to be known as Tea Leaf Trust.
